Mt. Auburn and Prospect Hill

Cincinnati's first suburb! In our founding days, Mt Auburn was the sweet escape from the bustle of the city and offered its early residents cleaner air and panaramic views.  Many of the original city steps were in Mt. Auburn with Main Street steps being the longest in the city.  Today, Mt. Auburn is home to over 7,000 residents (and approximately 9,000 more that come here to work).

Mt. Auburn is home to many Cincinnati treasures, including the William Howard Taft Birthplace & National Historic Site; Jackson, Hopkins, and Inwood Parks; and The Christ Hospital.  It reportedly has the largest number of Italianate homes in the United States and is an architecture lover's dream. It’s an exciting time to be in Mt. Auburn.  New homes are being built, parks are getting new life, and the Auburn Avenue corridor is implementing its plans for the future.

Terrific access to healthcare.  Christ Hospital is one of the pillars of the community.
